Assurant Companies Announce Safeguards for Customers Affected by Midwest Flooding
The current flooding disasters in the Midwest have displaced many residents from their homes and disrupted mail delivery. To assist affected consumers in maintaining their current insurance coverage during this period, insurance regulators in several states, including Illinois, Iowa, and Indiana, have issued bulletins imposing 60-day voluntary moratoriums on policy cancellations due to nonpayment of premiums.
